Aloha Family 5K & 1-Mile Walk

If you want to get in a nice walk for charity, this event is for you. The Aloha Family 5K & 1-Mile Walk benefits Amanda’s House at Glens Falls Hospital. This is a place for patients and their families to stay when they need to travel for medical treatments. The walk will be held on Saturday, June 17, at Haviland Cove Park. Your race fees go directly to Amanda’s House. The walk will begin at 9 a.m. Furthermore, you can register today by going to www.runsignup.com/gfh5k.

To participate in the 5k, the cost is $30 per person. However, for those ages 6 to 17, the cost is $15. You’ll have until June 15 at 11:59 p.m. to sign up. Anyone aged 99 and under can take part. For Glens Falls Hospital employees, the cost is $25. In addition, the cost to sign up for the 1-mile walk is the same as the 5k. Ages 5 and under are free. Awards go to the top two finishers for both males and females. All who participate get a medal.
