It’s then that you can take part in the Lake George BBQ & Music Festival. This three-day event is filled with entertainment and fantastic food. There will be several hours of music, featuring a little something for everyone. If you are in or around Lake George this August, make sure to come to the festival.
The Details
The Lake George BBQ & Music Festival is coming to Lake George, NY, Aug. 19–21. This Friday through Sunday spectacular event is at the Charles R Wood Park, 17 West Brook Ln. It runs on Friday from 3 to 9 in the evening, Saturday from noon to 9 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Adults can get single-day passes for just $7, while a weekend pass is only $10. Furthermore, kids 14 and under can get into the festival for free! You can get your tickets online in advance.
The Music
The highlight of the festival is the music. Festival-goers will get to hear 18 different bands playing live and on stage. You’ve bound to hear whatever type of music you enjoy here at the Lake George BBQ & Music Festival. On day one, there will be five bands, including the mixed acoustic solo performer Rich Oriz. Sunny Bleau will follow him. The other acts on the first day are Jennie Angel, an alternative country performer, and Thanks!, an Indi pop group. The last performer on Friday is Miller and the Other Sinners, a blues rock band.
On day two, eight bands will entertain the audience. The fun starts at 12:15 and goes all the way up until the festival ends for the day at 9 p.m. Deb Cavanaugh is the first group to go. The George Boone Band, Amy Ryan Band, Dirty Soap, Northern Borne, Gentleman Brawlers, Soul Sky, and Sly Fox and the Hustlers follow.
Finally, five bands finish the festival on Sunday, beginning at 12:15 p.m. with Mark & Jill, a blues duo. Reese Fulmer, Deb Cavanaugh and Dandelion Wine, Muddy Ruckus, and Michel Charles will come up next.

The Food
You can’t have fun and entertainment without good food. Fortunately, at the Lake George BBQ & Music Festival, you won’t have a letdown in this area. For instance, Barnsider BBQ, Smith’s Smokeshack, and Screaming Eagle Concessions will be on hand to provide fantastic barbecue meals. Lavelle’s Smokehouse, Mach’s Mobile Brick Oven Wood Fired Pizza, and Spicy Tracy’s Pickles will also have food to purchase and enjoy.
